Nanoparticle: Environmental Chemistry


     Our target of this theme is to understand the physical and chemical processes affecting the properties of nanomaterials in natural aqueous environment. Nanoparticle (NP) surface chemistry, transport and transformation are the foundation for understanding nanomaterial bioavailability and impacts on ecosystem. Our works also include investigating the physical and chemical properties of nanomaterials and connect these properties to their aggregation and movement in environment. This information will provide the foundation for understanding environmental persistence, transport and bioavailability of nanomaterials.
